Yes very sad. To be honest I've only read one of her books. "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" I've even read the poem she got the title of that book from. I forget who wrote it though!!

Aww...Well, I'm into this other poem she wrote, "Life Doesn't Frighten Me"...It's cute and simple. The fact that she uses simple words instead of trying to force meaning behind them it's awesome. She doesn't try too hard. I think I do...lol...but ah well...

I find that when I don't try at all that's when my best stuff comes! Personally I don't think anybody can try too hard they just can't take the pressure of their own mind's critique. You are your worst enemy!
